All the programs in Numbers, Words and Pictures 2 can be run from a simple menu, exchange data between programs and can be configured to suit the needs of individual pupils. They include:

Pick a Picture 2
A simple, visual introduction to data-handling. This tool contains four starter topics; ourselves, houses, weather and minibeasts.

Counting Pictures 3
This program includes a collection of colourful pictures that can be built into graphs linked to specific classroom topics. Graphs can be edited, printed and converted to tally charts or tables of words.

Painter 2
A simple graphics program that provides the essential tools and features for producing artwork on a computer. Real crayon, spray and pencil effects are included alongside tiling and symmetry options.

Turtle 2
An uncomplicated introduction to Logo allowing pupils to easily control an on-screen turtle. Includes fun turtle projects for pupils to complete.

Sort
An introduction to sorting using Venn, Carroll and tree diagrams. It includes pre-built data sets and attribute blocks.

Writer 2
Simple word processing with built-in templates, word lists and image resources to support literacy activities for younger pupils.
