Suffolk Reading Scale: Second Edition (SRS2) is a standardised reading assessment that comprises of the multiple-choice, sentence completion questions. SRS2 enables you to monitor the progress and ability of individuals and groups.
The Scale comprises three levels and has been designed to be relevant and engaging to pupils and can be administered easily in the classroom.
- Gives standard age scores and reading ages
- Monitors ability and reading standards on infant/junior and junior/secondary transfer
- Assists in gauging what each pupil is able to read and thereby helps you to choose relevant materials
- Is accessible and motivating through the use of contemporary language and situations
- Enables comparisons of year-on-year progress
- Offers parallel forms, which allow you to retest and minimise practice efforts
- Provides correlation tables which allow you to convert original SRS scores to SRS2 equivalents
- Offers a scoring and analysis service for level 3
